Leadership Excellence

Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø students can join our Army ROTC program via the Royal Warrior Battalion, located at The University of Scranton. Completing this 3 to 4 year leadership development program will earn you a commission in the United States Army, Army Reserve,  or Army National Guard.

The Program

A professional training program for any major, undergraduate or graduate (program must have at least two years remaining). No formal application or interview is required to start.

Program Overview

The official mission of U.S. Army Cadet Command and the Army ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) is to partner with universities to train, educate, and develop leaders of character, and to commission the future officer leadership for the Total Army (the Active Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard).

The University of Scranton serves as the host institution for the Royal Warrior Battalion (housed in Roche Hall). Students enrolled at participating regional partner schools (such as Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø) cross-enroll or commute for specific military science electives, labs, and field training exercises.
