Why have you chosen to be part of the Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø Alumni Association Board of Directors?
Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø provided me with the necessary skills to be successful and holds a very special place in my heart. I am so grateful and thankful for the education I received at Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø and the people I was able to meet, including my wife of 17 years.
What is your favorite memory from your time as a student at Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø?
Traveling with our Math Club to the National Council of Math Teachers conference in Washington DC and other conferences.
What advice would you give a student attending Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø?
Enjoy the time spent at Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø, it goes by quickly; take the time to meet new people, enjoy the beauty of the campus, and truly embrace the Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø experience.
What were you involved with during your time as a student at Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø? (athletics, clubs, etc.)
Baseball (a member of the first Ä¢¹½tv¹ÙÍø Baseball team), Math Club (called Semi-Group), Education Club
What is a fun fact about yourself?
My wife and I, who literally lived only blocks away from one another, never met until one day on the steps of the Science Center (Spring of 1997). We have been together ever since and even had our wedding pictures taking on the campus!
